Too often it is the unfortunate case that a freelancer and their client act as completely seperate entities. The writer feels rightly proud of their work, and will write their way...regardless of the needs of the client.

At The Writing Team we turn this completely on it's head.

The Writing Team offers skill with words, experience of freelance professional writing and creative flair whilst the customer contributes the overall shape and intent of the project. The Writing Team in York

The nerve centre of The Writing Team is in Strensall, a village just to the north of York. This location gives excellent access to both the beautiful city of York, and rest of the country through road and rail links.

The lead copywriter and SEO professional of The Writing Team is Rob Davie. Rob has a huge variety of experience to draw upon, having lived all over the UK and in Germany, writing poetry and prose from a very early age.

For the first 5 years or so of his professional career, Rob was a taxation professional, working for the Inland Revenue (as it was then) and then 'jumping the fence' to Ernst & Young to train as a corporate and personal tax consultant. This is where Rob gained his understanding of business that is so very useful when talking to clients about their writing requirements.

Since then Rob has worked for a major telecomms firm, several smaller accountants, a local business delivering top marque cars, and one of Europe's most respected manufacturers of relocatable buildings.

One common factor is that Rob has always been writing. He has had poetry published in the UK and in America, regularly writes articles for blogs around the world, and relishes any new writing challenge.
